Purpose:
Silica fume, is a concrete admixture which provides an increase of strength, a reduction of concrete permeability, protection from freeze–thaw. The admixture also, improves fresh concrete properties, chemical and sulphate resistance, it improves resistance to corrosion and, chloride and ion penetration.
